Three emails, two calls, still no reply.
Local forwarders read your message and go quiet for days. You can't tell if they'll answer at all.
Kazakhstan · Uzbekistan · Azerbaijan → UK and beyond
We are a UK company moving cargo by rail, sea and road from Central Asia and the Caucasus. You get a price and transit time the same working day, a written status every day, and photos at every transshipment.

Three emails, two calls, still no reply.
Local forwarders read your message and go quiet for days. You can't tell if they'll answer at all.
‘It's on its way.’ Where, exactly?
No daily status, no real arrival date. You find out it sat at a station for a week after the fact.
The invoice doesn't match the quote.
The rate moves after you agree it, then storage, handling and “extra costs” appear on the final bill.
The cargo is ready. The wagons aren't.
No free rail cars or trucks at a sensible price, and nobody tells you until your loading window has gone.
I asked them to cover it. They didn't.
Simple instructions get forgotten in storage. Bags tear, cartons get wet, and nobody knows at which stage.
The rules changed and nobody warned us.
Railways and ports are state monopolies. Tariffs, timings and export rules change, often for the worse.
How we work
We don't just book transport. We stay on top of every leg, every day, and tell you first.
Send your route and cargo. You get a real figure and a realistic arrival date, not “we'll get back to you”.
We work on Central Asian hours and chase every party on the chain, so the update is in your inbox before your day starts.
Station, border, port, warehouse. You see the condition of your cargo at each handover, and any claim has evidence behind it.
“Keep under cover”, “do not stack”, “dry storage only”. We don't just pass them on. We confirm they were done.
Every cost is in the quote. If anything has to change on the way, we explain why and agree it with you first.
We hear about rail, port and export changes on the ground and plan your shipment around them early.
Getting started
No long contracts to begin with. Try us on one load, small or large, and judge us on how it goes.
Origin, destination, what it is and roughly how much. The form takes two minutes, or just send a WhatsApp.
All-in figure, transit time and the routing we propose, in writing.
We agree in writing who handles what at each stage, then book transport and inspect loading.
Status every morning, photos at each handover, and a call if anything needs your decision.
Services
We choose the mode that fits your cargo, budget and deadline, and we often combine them.

Wagons and containers across Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to the Caspian and Black Sea ports.

Caspian ferries and vessels via Aktau and Alat, then Black Sea ports and deep-sea to the UK or further.

Full truckloads from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, and road legs to and from rail heads and ports.

Rail to port, sea, then road to your door. One price, one contact, every handover watched.

You buy textiles or goods in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan or Azerbaijan and need them in your warehouse, on time and in sellable condition.
You run bulk or breakbulk flows out of the region and need fewer surprises in front of your traders and buyers.
About PIAT Logistics
“I built this service because I couldn't get a straight answer for my own cargo.”
Anton, our founder, has spent more than 20 years as a senior manager in logistics companies. For the last three years he has run shipments out of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for our clients: more than 165,000 tonnes to Turkey, Africa and South America.
When he tried to ship his own textiles from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan to the UK, local forwarders went quiet for days, and nobody could give a rail or road price quickly. PIAT Logistics is the service he wanted as a customer: a UK company that answers, a team that speaks English, Russian and local languages, and someone on the ground who visits the region several times a year.
Straight talk
Railways and ports in the region are state monopolies, and their rules change. Nobody can promise to change that. Here is what we do about it.

FAQ
The same working day. We start at 06:00 UK time, so a request sent in the morning usually gets a figure, a transit time and a proposed routing within hours.
The quote lists every cost we expect from pickup to delivery and says clearly what is excluded, for example import duties in the UK. If anything has to change on the way, we explain why and agree it with you before it is charged.
Before the cargo moves, we set out in writing who handles what at each stage. We photograph the cargo at every handover, so if something happens you know where and you have evidence for a claim.
Mostly the Middle Corridor: rail across Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan, the Caspian via Aktau and Alat, then Georgia's Black Sea ports or road and rail onwards. Your quote shows the full routing, so your compliance team can review it.
Yes. You can start with one pilot load, see how we work, and only then move more volume to us.
Because our clients are in the UK. You deal with a UK-registered company, under English law, in English, on your working hours. Our team on the ground handles the local side in Russian and local languages.
